Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic that Shafter and the rest of the country are facing, Toni Frantz of the Distinguished Young Women of Shafter program has announced a postponing of the program that had been scheduled for Friday, March 20. “After weighing the options and going back and forth, we are postponing the DYW program,” she said Monday.
