Marylyn is ready to go home
Hello Friends, meet our beautiful girl named Marylyn! Marylyn is a Red and White Golden retriever/Pit bull mix that is around 2 years old and weighs 52 pounds. In June of 2018, Marylyn came into the shelter when some children found her alone; hanging out at one of Shafter's local parks. Since her stay with us she has adjusted well and is looking for a loving home to go too. Marylyn has passed her Safer Dog Evaluation tests and has done well when meeting new dogs. We have observed Marylyn to be a sweet, energetic, playful girl, who loves people. She isn't quite sure about how to play with toys but she is willing to learn. We would love to see Marylyn be adopted into an active home where she will be loved unconditionally. Marylyn would be a great addition to a family with older children or adults only. She loves to go out on walks and she is eager to please. Please come out to the Shafter Animal Shelter to meet this girl in person, you won't regret it! Thank you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JjHf_Ho88Q
Thank you for inquiring about a pet from Shafter Animal Control. If you have not already, please view our home page at http://www.shaftercritters.petfinder.com. Our web site will answer many questions that you may have about adopting from us. We cannot recommend any dog as "good with children" since there is no way to be certain that they are safe for children. The age of the animal is an estimation that has been based on the knowledge and training of the shelter staff. If you have further questions you can email animalcontrol@shafter.com or call 661-746-2140. E-mail is not checked on Sundays or holidays. We are located at 18849 S. Shafter Ave. Shafter, CA 93263.
*We are a municipal animal shelter that takes in more animals than we can possibly find homes for. Space is very limited as are resources so if you are interested, do not wait to inquire or it may be too late! Though we house all types of animals, we ONLY post adoptable ones on our website. Note, we adopt on a first come, first serve basis.
