Passed away Dec. 23, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Rutin "Magoo" Herrera announces his passing after a tough battle. He entered the outskirts of Heaven on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, at the age of 62.
Magoo will be lovingly remembered by his best friend, Marsha, and children Lola, Wanda, Richard and Anthony.
Magoo will be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren: Samantha, Willy, Anthony, Mathew, Joel, Natalie and Athena; by his siblings: Rudy, Tommy, Jesse, Anna, Willie & Cindy & the souls he saved in church, feeding the needy, playing softball & throughout his life. Magoo reunited at the pearly gates and golden streets with his sisters Maryann, Nora and Rachel, other family members and parents Rutin and Lola Herrera.
the He was a family man that loved traditions and the Lord; his legacy will live on. A true soldier for Christ until his last breath, he fought the good fight and won the race. He reached his final destination and soared high with his wings. He'll always be a warrior.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished race, I have kept the faith." --2 Timothy 4:7
