Lucky is the family who gets to take him home.
Meet our sweet pup named Lucky! Lucky is a black and white pit bull mix who is guessed to be around 5 months old. He was found as a stray roaming the countryside. Lucky has been neutered and is current on his vaccinations. He is now available for adoption and is looking for a family to love him unconditionally
We have observed Lucky to be a sweet and playful boy. He loves to be petted and given treats. Belly rubs and hugs are lots of fun for him as well. Lucky could use some basic-training classes to teach him manners and some basic commands.
Come out to the Shafter Animal Shelter to meet to this cutie pie. You won't regret it.

Shafter Animal Control is a municipal animal shelter that takes in more animals than they can find homes for. Space is very limited, as are resources, so if you are interested, do not wait to inquire or it may be too late. Though we house all types of animals, only adoptable ones are posted on the website. Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.
