Arrest Report - April 11, 2019

April 1

Stevie Joe McClain, 31, of Shafter, was arrested in the 300 block of West Lerdo Highway for possession of a controlled substance, failed to stop at a stop sign and on a misdemeanor bench warrant.

Roberto Garcia, 34, of Shafter was arrested on the 1000 block of Central Valley Highway for fighting in a public place and causing vandalism less than $400.

April 2

Lorenzo Ortega Jr., 20, of Shafter, was arrested in the 500 block of Vera Cruz Way for threatening a crime with intent and contempt and disobeying a court order.

Ramon Cerda Avalos, 45, of Wasco, was arrested in the 500 of State Avenue on a outside agency warrant.

Josue Javier Mendoza, 26, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of East Lerdo Highway for trespassing on private property without consent, possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia, and obstruction of a public officer.

April 3

Stacey Lynn Roque, 39, of Shafter, was arrested at 244½ W. Lerdo Hwy. on an outside agency warrant.

April 4

Jaime Hinojosa, 62, of Wasco, was arrested on Central Valley Highway and Pacific Avenue for driving under the influence of alcohol.

April 5

Josue Javier Mendoza, 26, of Shafter, was arrested in the 800 block of Minter Avenue for possession of controlled substance/paraphernalia and petty theft.

April 6

Jose Alfredo Jimenez, 42, of Shafter, was arrested in the 400 block of Lowen Street for assault with a deadly weapon/force use enough to cause great bodily injury.

April 7

Dario Esqueda Mendez Jr., 37, of Shafter, was arrested on a misdemeanor bench warrant.

Jesus Chavez, 41, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of Central Valley Highway in Shafter for assault with a deadly weapon not firearm and domestic violence. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

April 3

Ricardo Lorenzo Maldonado, 34, of Chino, was arrested in the 13000 block of Highway 46 in Lost Hills for trespassing, criminal threats, exhibiting a deadly weapon and resisting arrest. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

April 4

Guadalupe Cortez, 42, of Wasco, was arrested at the intersection of Kimberlina Road west of Wildwood Road in Wasco for vandalism, petty theft, conspiracy and being in possession of stolen property. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

April 5

Juan Martin Barraza, 38, of Shafter, was arrested in the 30700 block of Rodriguez Street in Shafter for domestic violence and on a misdemeanor warrant. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
