April 8

Courtney LeeAnn Vela, 35, of Shafter, was arrested on the corner of North Wall Street and Poso Avenue. for trespassing and refusing to leave.

April 9

Arthur Joseph Martinez, 35, of Shafter, was arrested on corner of North Shafter Ave and Poso Avenue for possession of a controlled substance.

Miguel Omar Camacho Ramirez, 38, of Shafter, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance/paraphernalia and possession of burglary tools.

Juan Humberto Loza, 22, of Shafter, was arrested for receiving and knowing it was stolen property.

April 11

David Osvaldo Saldivar, 26, of Shafter, was arrested on the corner of East Lerdo Highway and Mannel Avenue. for possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, driving without license, no safety helmets: required, stop required, unregistered vehicle and on a misdemeanor bench warrant.

Antonio Ruiz Madrigal, 38, of Shafter, was arrested on the 100 North Valley Block on an outside agency warrant.

April 12

Arthur Joseph Martinez, 35, of Shafter, was arrested on the corner of Central Valley Highway and Central Avenue for disorderly conduct: alcohol.

April 13

Juan Carlos Rios, 20, of Shafter, was arrested in the 100 block of Lerdo Highway for possession of controlled substance/paraphernalia/sales, biking on the wrong side of the road and transport of a controlled substance.

BUTTONWILLOW

As reported by the Kern County Sheriff’s Department, Buttonwillow substation:

April 8

Rhonda Jean Webb, 57, of Shafter, was arrested at the intersection of Shafter

Avenue and Orange Street in Shafter for driving on a suspended license, expired

registration, no proof of insurance and being in possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was cited and released at the scene.

April 10

Michael Alan Pounds, 46, of Lost Hills, was arrested at the intersection of

Interstate 5 and Lerdo Highway in Buttonwillow for robbery, battery on spouse

and false imprisonment. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Jorge Luis-Aguilar De La Cruz, 38, of Lost Hills, was arrested at the

intersection of Highway 46 and Powers Street in Lost Hills for driving without a

license and having a taillamp out. He was cited and released at the scene.

April 13

Charles Scholz, 40, of Buttonwillow, was arrested at the intersection of

Highway 58 and Palomas Avenue in Buttonwillow for driving on a suspended

license, driving on a suspended license with a dui violation and being a habitual

traffic offender. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
