A wonderful world of Colours

Brian Crawford and Allen Tracy, animation and effects artists for Dreamworks Animation, discuss their work with Larry Starrh in a roundtable discussion that gave the audience an inside look at the animation process.

Colleen Diltz, a local photographer who has had her works on display at several Colours events, had a collection of wildflower photos in this year's show.

A new addition to the festival was the Shafter Colours Tour, which took vans of people to the different museums in town and gave them tours of the venues.

A colorful chair was decorated by children at the Children's Art Workshop. The artists are Ayleen Quezada, Emma Esquivel, Cadence Richardson, Natelie Sahagun, Vyan Ruiz, Andrea Garcia and Gimena Diaz.

The Children's Workshop had kids create their own masterpieces and put them on display.

The Car Show had a mix of classic dream cars and souped-up trucks and hot rods.

Charlotte White, a noted local artist, paints a quick watercolor. She has works of art on display at several businesses in town, including City Hall.

A variety of local wines were offered as part of the Wine Tasting and Meet the Artists event at the Veterans Hall.

All of the museums in town were open throughout the weekend, including the Minter Field Air Museum, which had a variety of vehicles and planes on display.
