Delbert (Peewee) Crawford

Delbert (Peewee) Crawford, son of a long time Wasco family, passed away at his home in San Pedro on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.

Delbert was the youngest of five siblings of CO and Dollie Crawford. Delbert is survived by his twin brother Deryl (Bumbo), sister Wanda and brother Vernon, as well as his wife of 49 years, Barbara, daughter Alaina, son Cameron and his wife Grace, grandson Paul and granddaughter Nola.

Delbert graduated from Wasco High School in the class of 1958. Following a tour in the U.S. Army, he went to work at his dream job in the U.S. space program working for Hughes Air and Space in Southern California.

The pandemic is forcing a delay in the memorial service, which will be sometime in the summer or fall when life returns to a semblance of normalcy.
