Megan Rose Page went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 25, 2020.

Megan (Cossey) Page was born on March 4, 1983, the daughter of Tommy Fred Cossey and Terri Michelle Nixon. She grew up in Weldon until the age of 7, then moved to Bakersfield where she lived until the age of 9. She became the stepdaughter of Freeman Nixon at the age of 10 and spent most of the rest of her life residing in Shafter. In 2002 she had her first child, Isis, and in 2008 welcomed her second child, Colin, into the world.

Megan was a creative soul and enjoyed drawing, doing hair, makeup, and cooking. She had a unique and infectious laugh, wore her heart on her sleeve, loved Jesus, her family and friends. She was also loyal to those she loved and was quick to forgive.

Megan is survived by her parents Terri and Freeman Nixon, father-in-law Jerald Page, mother-in-law Brenda Page, husband Jaren Page, sister Doris Martin, brother-in-law Tyson Page and Justin Martin, sister-in-law Jenna Page, and children Isis and Colin. She is preceded in death by her father Tommy Cossey, grandparents Tom and Mary Cossey, Bill and Maxine Puckett, and uncles Bill Dehart, Larry Cossey, and David Cossey.

Megan is loved by many and those who knew her are suffering the loss of a daughter, sister, wife, and mother however we take comfort in knowing our Heavenly Father has gained his daughter and we will see her again in his kingdom.
