OBITUARY: Carlos Zamora Silva

Carlos Zamora Silva, 89, passed away peacefully at Delano Regional Hospital on May 26, 2021.

Born on Nov. 13, 1931, in Michoacán, Mexico, he was the son of the late Jesus Zamora and Librada Silva. He married at the age of 33 and welcomed five children with his wife, Maria Zamora.

He was an agricultural farm worker who worked tirelessly for his family. At times his work took him to different states, such as Michigan and Arizona, picking celery and planting rose bushes.

Carlos established residency in the United States and did the same for his wife and children. Carlos spent most of his life working and living in the United States to provide better opportunities for his family.

He enjoyed playing baseball, riding his bike and watching soccer games. Most of all Carlos loved to spend time with his family; he was blessed with many years of life that allowed him to meet his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He has five children, 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Carlos is survived by his children, Carlos Jr., Olivia, Flor, Elia and Gonzalo Zamora, his wife, Maria Zamora, as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carlos Zamora Silva, de 89 años, falleció pacíficamente en el Hospital Regional en Delano el 26 de Mayo de el ano 2021. Nació el 13 de Nov. de 1931 en Michoacán, México, era hijo del difunto Jesús Zamora y Librada Silva. Se casó a los 33 años y recibió a cinco hijos con su esposa María Elena Frausto de Zamora. Era un trabajador de agricultura que trabajaba incansablemente para su familia. En ocasiones su trabajo lo llevó a diferentes estados como Michigan y Arizona recogiendo apio y plantando rosales. Carlos estableció su residencia en los Estados Unidos e hizo lo mismo con su esposa e hijos. Carlos pasó la mayor parte de su vida trabajando y viviendo en los Estados Unidos para brindar mejores oportunidades a su familia. Le gustaba jugar béisbol, andar en bicicleta y ver partidos de fútbol. Sobre todo, a Carlos le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia, fue bendecido con muchos años de vida que le permitieron conocer a sus nietos y bisnietos. Tiene 5 hijos, 13 nietos y 16 bisnietos. A Carlos le sobreviven sus hijos, Carlos Jr., Olivia, Flor, Elia y Gonzalo Zamora y su esposa María Zamora, así como sus muchos nietos y bisnietos.
