Serving the community since 1922
Pastor Jose S. Morales went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 7, 2021. He dedicated his life to the Lord in 1992 and has served the Lord Jesus Christ in different ministries as a worship leader, musician, men's leader, youth mentor, missionary and a spiritual father.
In 2013, he was called to devote his life serving the church as a pastor in the ministry full time. He loved his church family dearly and compassionately and always felt privileged and a joy to pastor the flock.
For those who knew him his primary passion was reaching those who did not know the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and serving God with all his heart.
Jose met his wife. Juventina Morales, on Feb. 14, 1988; it was love at first sight. They got married on Nov. 15, 1998. His love for his wife and family was unconditional and one of a kind. His whole family can testify of his love.
He was the glue to all the families and always brought laughter and joy with his sense of humor. He made each family member feel special and loved, especially his grandchildren. His grandchildren called him and will remember him as "Papi Che."
Jose's work profession was as a master automotive painter technician; he worked in this field for 35 years. He was a gifted musician who knew how to play multiple instruments, which he used to glorify the name of the Lord.
He had an amazing and generous heart, helping others, especially the ones in need. He left an impression on every person he encountered.
Jose is survived by his wife of 33 years, Juventina; four daughters, Adelene, Valerie, Katie and Princess; his son, Steve; four sons-in-law, Ben, Anthony, Perfecto and Jordan; and 12 grandchildren, Elijah, Alexis, Steve Anthony, Melody, Andrew, Josiah, Arabella, Audrina, Azariah, Layla, Anakin and Angelina.
