SHS recognizes Generals of the Month

Shafter High School recently named their Generals of the Month students.

These students exhibited an outstanding performance in the classroom, as well as possessing traits that make being a General so special. According to Principal Russell Shipley, these students were recognized for good grades, as well as being good people inside and outside of the classroom.

Generals of the Month receive a certificate, as well as a bumper sticker, and are announced during the presentation of the Daily Bulletin and a special lunch.

There were three students who were chosen, not only for their Generals of the Month status, but also were named to the Principal's List. These students receive everything that goes along with being a General of the Month, but also get the chance to have lunch with Shipley.

The students chosen for the Principal's List were Camryn Eubanks, Faith Bazaldua, Oliver Vasquez, and Sergio Lopez Gomez.

Camacho, Desiree Arreola, Edith Espinoza, Eduardo Paniagua, Emily McGuire, Erialdo Sanchez, Faith Bazaldua, Giselle Sierra, Gracelynn Kennedy, Gustavo Pardo, Hector Cruz, Jamile Manzo Mesa, Joel Espinosa, Joselin Hermosillo, Juan Garcia Prieto, Justin Brown, Katie Avila, Keven Borboa, Liliana Oros, Lucero Alfaro Aldazaba, Ludwika Escalona, MacKenzie Akman, Malia Maldonado, Matthew Penner, Neveah Cruz, Nicole Morris, Noah Brown, Oliver Vasquez, Ramiro Munoz, Rebecca Gutierrez, Ryan Pineda, Savannah Porter, Sergio Lopez, Sergio Lopez Gomez, Yarelli Soria and Ysbet Lopez.
