Nov. 8

Ivan Hernandez, 22, of Shafter, was arrested on the 400 block of Curtis Ave. on a misdemeanor bench warrant.

Johnathan Henry Richardson, 42, of Shafter, was arrested on the 300 James St. for possession of controlled substance and on a misdemeanor bench warrant.

Nov. 9

Abel Amaral Jr., 19, of Shafter, was arrested on Thompson Lane and Lori Lane for dui, driving without a license and cross over a double yellow line.

Alvaro Pena Lopez, 36, of Shafter, was arrested on the 400 block of W. Los Angeles for felon in possession of firearm, concealed firearm on person and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

Nov. 10

Antonio Ruiz Madrigal, 41, of Shafter, was arrested on the 200 block of E. Lerdo Hwy for carry a concealed dirk/dagger.

Nov. 11

Juan Martin Barraza, 41, of Shafter, was arrested on the Elizabeth and S. Shafter Ave. for controlled substance paraphernalia, driving without a license and on a misdemeanor bench warrant.

Nov. 13

Georgia Anne Schweikart, 22, of Shafter, was arrested for dui, exceed max 55 speed, unregistered vehicle and fail to drive right side of road.

Eric Dean Nixon, 47, of Shafter, was arrested on the 300 block of Walker St. on an outside felony warrant.

Nov. 14

Carlos Jesus Rosas, 43, of Shafter, was arrested on the Santa Fe and Orange Ave. on an outside felony warrant, driving without a license, restriction ignition interlock and broken windshield.

BUTTONWILLOW

As reported by the Kern County Sheriff's Department, Buttonwillow substation

Nov. 12

Brandon Steffan, 40, of Bakersfield, was arrested at the intersection of Highway 58 and Wasco Way in Buttonwillow for possession of a controlled substance for sale, transporting a controlled substance, possession of burglary tools, prohibited person in possession of ammunition, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and expired registration on trailer. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Nov. 8

Alonzo Anthony Garnica, 30, of Wasco, was arrested near the intersection of Palm Avenue and 2nd Street for being in possession of a controlled substance and on three felony warrants. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Nov. 9

Francisco Guivas, 49, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1100 block of Iris Street on his active misdemeanor bench warrant. He was cited and release at the scene.

Nov. 10

Roberto Rendon Gonzalez, 59, of Wasco, was arrested near the intersection of Griffith Avenue and Lily Street for stalking and violation of a domestic restraining order. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Daniel Alejandro Martinez, 28, of Wasco, was arrested near the intersection of Griffith Avenue and Lily Street for being in possession of drug paraphernalia, on three misdemeanor warrants, and two felony warrants. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Nov. 12

Raphael Boytes-Espinoza, 30, of Wasco, was arrested in the 400 block of N. Central Avenue for driving while license suspended, being in possession of methamphetamine. He was cited and released at the scene.

Nov. 13

Jose Alvarez, 25, of Wasco, was arrested near the intersection of 10th Street and E Street for misdemeanor driving while license is suspended. He was cited and release at the scene.

Oscar Miranda, 38, of Wasco, was arrested near the intersection of 10th Street and E Street on his active felony bench warrant. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Jerry Lester Priest, 64, of Wasco, was arrested in the 400 block of Sweetgum Court for misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Jorge Romo, 40, of Wasco, was arrested in the 900 block of Maple Avenue for felony battery with serious bodily injury. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
