Pet of the Week: Introducing Bailey

Visit the Wasco Animal shelter to meet Bailey, who is available for adoption or rescue on Feb. 16. She came in as a stray and is a loving, approximately 6-month-old female Chihuahua mix. While Bailey is excellent with staff and other small and large dogs, it is not known if Bailey is house/crate trained. Dogs are not tested with children and cats.

If you are interested in adopting Bailey, call the shelter on Feb. 16 at 661-758-7240 to schedule a time to meet her and possibly adopt her at that time. You may also call this number for more information or questions. Appointments via email or before availability are not possible.

Everyone is welcome to adopt from the facility. Adopters can be from out of town and/or local. The shelter does not place holds for adoption, and potential adopters are responsible for transportation. It is a first-call, first-serve.

If this is your dog, reach out to the shelter right away.

Rescue is a nonprofit organization with a tax-exempt 501(c)(3). If you never pulled from the Wasco Animal Shelter, please email them two references (vet preferably) and a copy of your 501(c)(3) form to eubarraza@cityofwasco.org.
