Tin Cup will be having a Bunny Bash on April 9th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kids ages 2-10 can decorate Easter cookies for $5 each while supplies last. Cash & credit card accepted. Bring your camera and get FREE pictures with the Easter bunny.

Wasco Women’s Club will be sponsoring a Craft Fair and Pop Up event to support local small business on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9am-2pm at 1601 7th St,, Wasco. Spring gifts, Easter décor and sweet treats. Bring friends and family; all ages welcome. The Womans Club will also have breakfast and lunch items for sale.

Wasco Branch Library is in partnership with NO Kid Hungry and the Kern County Superintendent of Schools, and is offering FREE meals and space to do homework.

Monday

Richland School Board of Education meetings are held the second Monday of each month, 6 p.m. at Golden Oak cafeteria, 195 S. Wall St.

Shafter City Council meetings are held at Shafter City Hall on the first and third Tuesday of each month.

Tuesday

Wasco Woman’s Club – Meetings are at the Clubhouse at 1601 7th St. on the second Tuesday of each month. $15 fee for the lunch meetings.

Senior Lunch Program – Every first and third Tuesday of the month at Griffith Avenue Baptist Church Baptist Church, 408 Griffith St. Giving senior sack program lunches out at

11 a.m. Sponsored by Golden Gleaners.

Wednesday

Shafter Rotary Club meets at 7 a.m. at the Shafter Veteran’s Hall.

Shafter Kiwanis imeets at 12 p.m. at the Shafter Veteran’s Hall.

Thursday

Wasco High School board meeting: 1900 7th St. in Room 202. The meetings are on the second Thursday of every month and may also be held in the Library Room 1101. The agenda is on WHS online.

Wasco Recreation & Park Board Meetings are on every third Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Hall at Barker Park in Wasco.

Shafter Recreation and the Gleaners have food distribution every first and third Thursday of each month at the WCW Walker Senior Center, 505 Sunset Ave., Shafter.

Friday

Food giveaway – The Impact Program is a weekly good giveaway provided to anyone in need, beginning at 7 a.m. First come, first serve. Griffith Avenue Baptist Church, 408 Griffith St., Wasco.

Saturday

The Shafter Depot Museum, 150 Central Valley Highway,

is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
