MONDAY
Richland School Board of Education meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at Golden Oak Cafeteria, 195 S. Wall Street.
TUESDAY
Shafter City Council meetings are held at City Hall on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
Wasco Woman’s Club meetings are at the Clubhouse at 1601 7th on the second Tuesday of the month. $15 fee for the lunch.
Senior Lunch Program – Every first and third Tuesday of the month: Griffith Avenue Baptist Church Baptist Church, 408 Griffith St., provides sack lunch for seniors beginning at 11 a.m. Sponsored by Golden Gleaners.
WEDNESDAY
Shafter Rotary meets at 7 a.m. at the Shafter Veterans Hall.
Shafter Kiwanis meets Wednesdays at noon at the Shafter Veterans Hall.
THURSDAY
Wasco Union High School board meetings are held at 1900 7th St. in Room 202, or at the library in Room 1101 at 6 p.m. The meetings are on the second Thursday of every month. The agenda can be found at wascouhsd.org.
Wasco Recreation and Parks board meetings are on the third Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Hall at Barker Park in Wasco.
Shafter Recreation and the Gleaners have food distribution every first and third Thursday of each month at the W.C. Walker Senior Center, 505 Sunset Ave., Shafter.
FRIDAY
Food giveaway — The Impact Program is a weekly giveaway provided to anyone in need Beginning at 7 a.m. First come, first serve. Griffith Avenue Baptist Church, 408 Griffith St., Wasco.
SATURDAY
The Shafter Depot Museum is open Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The museum is at 150 Central Valley Highway.
