Lynda Roseva Rosales, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Sept. 28, 2022.
Lynda was born on Feb, 27, 1940, in Bakersfield, and was a lifelong member of the Shafter community. She is the daughter of Irvin E. Fike and Sarah Mildred Fike of the "Irvin E. Fike Chrysler - Plymouth" car dealership in Shafter.
Lynda attended Richland School, Shafter High School and beauty college. Lynda married Raymond J. Rosales in McFarland on April 21, 1962. A dedicated giver, she provided home care to her mother, stepfather and others who needed care.
Lynda was well known for her baking and cooking skills, which the family enjoyed every holiday season and throughout the year. Others in the community also enjoyed her tasty sweet treats, which included English toffee, and cinnamon and cherry r olls. Her children will always remember the fantastic aroma of the kitchen when we gathered during the holidays.
Lynda is survived by her brother, Lee and wife Deena Fike; son, Bryan and wife Jennete Rosales; daughter, Mona and husband Marty Lynch-Kaolelopono; daughter-in-law, Nicole Angone Rosales; grandsons, Kealoha Kaolelopono and wife Aaliyah, Keoki Kaolelopono and wife Cayla; and great grandson, Kekoa Kaolelopono. She was preceded in death by her father, Irvin E. Fike; mother, Mildred Fike; and stepfather, Galen Stahl; her husband, Raymond J. Rosales; and her son, Brent Irvin Rosales.
Lynda's Family would like to thank Hoffman Hospice Home and their staff for the loving care they gave Lynda.
Graveside services were held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022. Services entrusted to Peters Funeral Home.
