Fourth and 5th grade students from Redwood Elementary School participated in their Science Fair last week, showcasing their science fair projects and sharing their research and conclusions. The event is a qualifier for the County Science Fair, which includes students who have won at the school and district level.
According to Superintendent Rosa Romero, the students worked hard on their projects for weeks. "We are proud of our participants for their hard work and effort in completing their science projects. A special thank you to Mrs. Simpson for the extra support she provided."
Also last week, Redwood parents began their Parent Institute Family Engagement Workshops on building academic success together.
The parents will participate in an eight-week session, providing them with new skills, tools, and resources t help their child succeed in school. "We are excited to work in this partnership with our parents to support our scholars' academic achievement and success," concluded Romero.
