Nov. 24, 1952 – March 29, 2023
On March 29, 2023, Jackie Beaver, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully at the age of 70, in her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Jackie was born in Delano to her parents, Joaquin and Lupe Aguerria. She was the oldest daughter and the second child of 11 children. Jackie grew up in Wasco and attended St. John's Catholic School. In 1970, she graduated from Wasco High School. Jackie was a proud mom of three daughters, lovingly known as "my girls," and a proud grandma of nine grandchildren and a great grandson. For the past 16 years, she worked for CAPK as a nutrition assistant.
Jackie was family oriented and believed in unconditional love. Her greatest role was being a mother and a grandmother. Jackie's family meant everything to her, and she would go to the end of the Earth to make sure they were all okay. She was never afraid to say "I love you," but more importantly, she said it in her actions. During holidays, barbeques, parties or just a simple get together, she never let any of her kids or grandkids leave on an empty stomach, made sure extra food was taken and always made sure everyone made it home safely; a few loving gestures out of many that demonstrated her love for her family. Being the oldest sister, she took on the role as a second mom. She always lent an ear and was ready to listen with a loyal and open heart. Jackie's unconditional love for her family never wavered and will be what all her family will miss and cherish forever.
All those who were fortunate to know Jackie were blessed by her kind and caring beauty. She never met a stranger and made friends everywhere she went. She was the most loyal and selfless friend, and would freely give to anyone in need.
Jackie will be dearly missed by her family and her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joaquin and Lupe Aguerria, son-in-law Papo Hernandez and brothers Alfred Aguerria and Joaquin J. Aguerria.
Jackie is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Victoria Beaver-Cabello (Enrique Cabello), Evelyn Hernandez and Theresa Beaver (Carlos Ochoa); grandchildren Brittany, Carlos Jr., Joshua, Sydina, Rayen, Amanda, Hailey, Arianna and Zandree; great-grandson Nathan; sisters Barbara, Elizabeth, Madeleine and Caroline; brothers Edward, Joseph, John and Thomas; special friends Eleuterio Nunez, Mary Cruz, Esther Sanchez and Erika Maldonado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
