Wyona Louise Snyder "Nonie"

Nonie went to be with her Lord. She passed away in her sleep at home.

Wyona Louise Snyder was a loving soul who graduated from Shafter High School in 1953. A Shafter native, she is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, brother James Everet and parents Minnie and Leon Templeton.

She leaves behind her daughter and caregiver, Rhonda, and husband, Richard Strange; her three grandchildren, Johnny Wayne VanWinkle Jr., Heather Louise Allred with husband Jeremy, and Shanna Michele Bayaca with husband Alfredo; five great grandchildren, Bryce, Brendan, Mckenzie, Makenzie and Kaydence; and her many longtime friends and neighbors.

A service is being held Saturday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m. at First Southern Baptist Church, 250 Kern St., Shafter.
