Javier Antonio Parada, 40, of Shafter, was arrested in the 30500 block of Merced Avenue on an outside bench warrant/failure to appear on misdemeanor charge.
April 30
Ruy Rolando Leal, 25, of Shafter, was arrested in the 400 block of Rodriguez Avenue on a bench warrant/failure to appear on felony charge.
May 3
Robert Carlos Garza, 52, of Shafter, was arrested at Poplar and West Lerdo Highway for driving with a suspended license, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and on a bench warrant/failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.
Christopher Jonathan May, 48, of Shafter, was arrested in the 100 block of Central Avenue for possession of an open container in public and disorderly conduct: alcohol.
May 5
Darnesha Marie Douglas, 34, of Shafter, was arrested in the 3700 block of Shady Village Lane on a bench warrant/failure to appear on felony charge.

April 29
Ana Rothermel, 38, of Buttonwillow, was arrested in the 100 block of West Front Street for burglary, vehicle theft and possession of stolen property. She was booked into the Kern County Jail.
Mike Shawn Armstrong, 49, of Buttonwillow, was arrested in the 100 block of West Front Street for possession of stolen property. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
April 30
William Montandon, 31, of Bakersfield, was arrested at the intersection of Scaroni Avenue and 7th Standard Road in Shafter for possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
Jacob Matthew Dean, 23, of Bakersfield, was arrested at the intersection of Scaroni Avenue and 7th Standard Road in Shafter for possession of a controlled substance and on a misdemeanor warrant. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
Martin Zamora, 27, of Shafter, was arrested at the intersection of Beech Avenue and Orange Street in Shafter on three misdemeanor warrants. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
Joe Alejandro Martinez, 35, of Shafter, was arrested at the intersection of Beech Avenue and Orange Street in Shafter on two misdemeanor warrants. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
May 4
Jose Mora, 42, of Lost Hills, was arrested in the 21000 block of Kings Street in Lost Hills for burglary and violating a domestic violence restraining order. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
WASCO
As reported by the Wasco Police Department:
April 29
During a trespass investigation, officers contacted German Gaxiola Alvares, 26, in an enclosed sump west of Walmart. A search of Alvarez revealed he had a small quantity of methamphetamine in his possession. Alvarez was cited and released on scene.
Dustin Leathers, 50, and Tommy Browin, 36, were arrested at Walmart. Officers contacted Leathers in a white Mazda sedan while he was waiting in the parking lot for Browin, who was inside of Walmart. Leathers is prohibited from entering the store due to his involvement in prior thefts. A record check of Leathers revealed he had a felony warrant for his arrest. Browin was contacted inside the store and detained. He was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle. Both were transported to the Lerdo Holding Facility for booking.
April 30
Officers arrested Michael Smith, 33, near the Arco am/pm, located at 1792 Highway 46 during a battery investigation. A record check on Smith revealed he had two misdemeanor warrants and two felony warrants for his arrest. Smith was transported to the Lerdo Holding Facility where he was booked.
May 1
Officers responded to Mercy-Southwest Hospital regarding the victim of an assault that occurred in Wasco. Destiny Bermudez, 21, and Crystal Reynaga, 26, were arrested for domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon. Officers executed a search warrant for 1520 D St. and located the crime scene and several items of evidence. Both were booked at the Lerdo Holding Facility.
Officers arrested Jacob Esquivel, 30, in the 800 block of Lewis Street during a domestic dispute investigation. A record check revealed Esquivel had an active misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. He was arrested, cited, and released from the scene.
Officers contacted Jose Mendez, 66, during a traffic enforcement stop in the 1400 block of F Street. Mendez was arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license.
May 2
Officers arrested Arturo Bernardino, 28, during a traffic enforcement stop in the 1400 block of F Street on an active misdemeanor warrant. He was cited and released on scene.
Officers responded to the Karl F. Clements School to investigate a burglary alarm. Officers contacted and arrested Victor Adame, 21, on an active felony warrant. He was booked into the Lerdo Holding Facility.
May 3
Officers responded to the Ross Dress for Less Store, 2337 Highway 46, for a report of shoplifting. The stores’s loss prevention officer reported a subject, later identified as Samuel Roby, 51, left the store without paying for some items. Officers located Roby, and he was positively identified as being involved in the theft. He was arrested and booked at the Lerdo Holding Facility.
Officers arrested Pedro Jesus Barraza, 18, in the 100 block of D Street for failure to yield, driving without a valid driver’s license and failing to stop for a posted stop sign. Barraza led Oofficers in a short vehicle pursuit prior to his arrest.
May 4
Officers arrested Daniel Martinez, 30, for delaying a peace officer during a call of a disturbance in the area of 6th and Broadway. Martinez was allegedly involved in a verbal altercation with the reporting party. During the investigation, Martinez led officers in a short foot pursuit before being placed under arrest. Martinez was found to have credit card account information and a scanning device. He was transported to the Lerdo Holding Facility for booking.
May 5
Officers arrested Laura Cortez, 24, during a trespass investigation in the 100 block of 14th Street. Cortez initially provided officers with a false name in her attempt to avoid arrest. Officers conducted a record check and learned she had an active misdemeanor warrant. Cortez was transported and booked at the Lerdo Holding Facility.
Officers arrested Luis Quezada, 21, in the 1900 block of 5th Street, for public intoxication and battery during a call to a family disturbance. Quezada was displaying symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol. Quezada was booked into the Lerdo Holding Facility.
Officers arrested Mercedes Marquez, 48, in the 500 block of East Street for public intoxication and battery during a report of a disturbance. Marquez was contacted in the street as she was displaying symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol. Marquez was booked into the Lerdo Holding Facility.
Officers arrested Abel Rocha, 44, in the 1200 block of Poso Drive for domestic violence and battery with serious bodily injury. He was booked into the Lerdo Holding Facility.
