Serving the community since 1922
1st Samuel 12:14 tells us to fear the Lord and serve and obey Him and continue following Him, then the Lord would bless His children. Samuel’s ministry was coming to an end and he urged the people to continue on following the Lord, and they would be blessed. Even when things do not make sense, continue on following the Lord. Sometimes life does not make sense, but I will continue on following the Lord. The Bible speaks of some who died in the faith, not having received the promises but they continued on.
Jesus told the disciples in John 8:31, ”If you continue in my word then you are My disciples indeed.” It’s not how we begin, but it’s how we continue and end. He that endures to the end shall be saved. We must continue on in the Lord.
Jesus said in John 15:9, ”Continue in My love.” The Lord was saying to abide in My love. Hebrews 13:1 says Let brotherly love continue. In this evil world that we live in, continue in the love of God. Love God with all of your heart and love others as ourselves.
Acts 13:43 tells us, “Continue in the grace of God.” It would be a better world if we continued in the grace of God. I will continue on the path of grace. I will continue to trust the Lord’s grace and not lean on the arm of flesh.
Continue on and don’t give up. Acts 14:22 says, ”Continue in the faith.” It went on to say that we through much tribulation will enter into the kingdom of God. No weapon formed against you is able to prosper. Continue on!
The Bible also says in Colossians 4:2, ”Continue in prayer.” As long as you can pray you never have to give up. Continue in prayer, God hears you. No matter how tough the situation gets, continue on. When the enemy says give up and quit, continue on!
